Any readers/book lovers here?

I’m not big on books, but recently I just finished reading ‘A Monster Calls’ by Patrick Ness because I was really touched by the trailer for the upcoming movie. (The boy in the movie,  Lewis MacDougall is pretty cute too)

What is your favorite book?

  1. I don’t read a lot of books but it’s good to see boys reading because reading is fundamental. By the way, the boys are really cute too and I would read with them anytime!

  2. Cuties, beauties and using their brains too, can’t get much better, unless in was a nudist colony reading group laugh Thank you Mark for a nice group of minor males. Hanta Yo, Shogun, Miyamoto Musashi, The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings series, and anything by Rick Riordan are at the top of my reading lists. As a child it was the Iliad and Odyssey, and any Marvel comic [which my mom saved in a trunk and made me a small fortune] drinks laugh hug

  3. The boy in the second is a serious doppelganger for my little brother. Now I know you didn’t take his picture, he’s here on Maui. But I showed the picture to my Mum and Dad and even asked him if anyone recently took his picture when he was reading. He said “no”. When I printed out the picture on my Epson Photo Printer and showed Kyle, he flipped. He asked me where I got it. Nice photo.

  4. I’ve read “A Monster Calls.” It’s a brilliant book, and I’m so much looking forward to the film at the end of this year. You should have included some photos of Lewis MacDougall.

    • Yeah, I’m looking forward to the film too!
Considered about adding some pictures of Lewis MacDougall too, but I thought it wouldn’t really fit into the theme of this post chuckle

  5. ummm, If reading didnt give me a headache then probablyyy …..

  6. First teen age book at 12 is Treasure Island. Before 12, there are mother’s Nero Wolf mystery novels and similars, Nancy Drew mysteries, and Hardy Boys mysteries. Some science fiction too. smile
